Yves Saint Laurent produced a legacy of instant classics, and visiting his LOVE exhibit in Montreal this week proved again how timeless and far reaching his fashion is.  The fabrics, the details, the lines, whether exotic or androgynous - every piece makes a statement. 

I'm not a 'girly girl' but I do love the confident yet feminine look of a classic dress - and his dresses were exquisite!  YSL's Mondrian-inspired shift dress, a signature piece from the '60's, is still being re-interpreted in a variety of fashion today, even in plus size sweaters.

and then...there's the jumper.  OK, the look may not be for all size 14 plus women, but 1 Plus fashionistas who can carry it scream body confidence!  ...and really....isn't that what Yves, and fashion, is all about?
