Living the Brand

The American Marketing Association (AMA) defines a brand as a "name, term, sign, symbol or design, or a combination of them intended to identify the goods and services of one seller or group of sellers and to differentiate them from those of other sellers".
Branding goes well beyond marketing. At 1 Plus, we believe the "brand is in our hands". One of our most valuable assets—our people—must be well-trained in articulating and delivering our brand.

Addition Elle Brand Ambassador, Josie Fasciano, believes, "Our brand resides within the hearts and minds of customers, suppliers, and employees.   It is the sum total of their experiences and perceptions, some of which you can influence, and some that you cannot.

When employees don’t deliver the brand, it can be the kiss of death for a business. Don’t believe me? Visit a hotel review web site. Peruse travelers’ comments and you’ll likely come across more than a few who cite poor customer service for their negative hotel reviews.

Conversely, employees who represent the brand flawlessly and consistently can propel a business to stardom".

Josie is spotlighting the teams who are 'dedicated to enhancing the image of plus size women' each week.

SPOTLIGHT of the WEEK: Addition Elle's TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT

These nine women see hundreds of garments each week, and communicate the technical corrections required to make each 'a perfect fit' to our buyers and suppliers.  Every style is fit with our plus size customer in mind.  The Technical team ensures that Addition Elle tops, pants, dresses and bras (to name a few) fit and flatter most body types, and that the construction methods are appropriate for each design.

Their Motto?
"I'm working on a best seller".
